St. Valentine's Day is fast approaching and you better make sure you have a great gift for your special someone. Your girl will want you to sweep her off her feet and make sure she knows how much you love her. A box of chocolate isn't quite going to be enough. You better plan ahead too. For some reason, women can tell if it's a last minute rush, or if you've spent some time thinking about her and planning the romantic time that you'll spend together.
Here are a couple of quick ideas to make it extra special:
1. Don't just get chocolate - add something more creative, a teddy bear or jewelry or both will get you further ahead.
2. Clean up - take a shower, shave and put on something sharp. Look the part of someone who cares. And of course cleaning up the house is nice too, but at least start with yourself.
3. Find somewhere special to take her - McDonalds or Perkins just isn't the ticket. Trying a non-chain restaurant. If they have cloth table coverings then you're heading in the right direction and
4. Don't just sign your name - on the card that is - write something extra special and romantic in the card. Remind her why you fell in love with her and look to the future and share some reasons why you can't wait to spend the rest of your life with her. A poem is a good choice too!
Romance and passion are always in season, but St. Valentine's Day this year can be your reminder to stay focused on your girl and give her reasons to love you back. If you don't, someone else will.
